Here are instructions for how to use the spreadsheet, from Michael:
It’s a simple process – there isn’t a ton of data you need to keep track of – but I expect this spreadsheet will save you time and ensure you meet signup bonus spending requirements on time.
There are multiple comments embedded in the spreadsheet; hover your mouse cursor over the cells with red corner triangles to see them.
The spreadsheet includes fields for credit card name, bank, type (personal or business), application date, approval date, signup bonus points/miles/cash, the spending requirement and time frame in which it must be completed, date signup bonus was awarded (critical for Chase’s 2 year rule), annual fee information and a notes field. I use the notes field to list the intended use of the points/miles/cash since things can get complicated.
